There’s presently only one version being produced and it comes in a red and white bottle, but there used to be three different types.
All of them contained its own individual formulation of ingredients and, despite the fact that they were four very different products, they were all called Doctor’s Select Weight Loss 4.
The only way to differentiate between them was by looking at the packaging’s colour.
This caused a lot of confusion, so it’s great that Windmill Health have finally decided to pick one version and stick with it. However, the way they have done things is still a little strange.
The former colour choices were red, green, and blue. This being the case, the present colour choice (red) makes it appear Windmill Health decided to go with the “red” formulation, but this is not so.
They chose the “green” formulation and made it the new red. Just to make matters that little bit more confusing, there are still a lot of the old green boxes of Doctor’s Select Weight Loss 4 available to buy online.
So, if you buy the old green version (in a box) or the new red version (without a box) the pills are the same.

- Garcinia Cambogia Extract (750mg): Extracts taken from garcinia cambogia fruit are rich in hydroxycitric acid (HCA), which has the ability to help kill hunger urges. HCA further assists weight loss by preventing the body from converting excess carbohydrates to body fat. However experts believe, in order to be effective, the HCA content of garcinia cambogia must be at least 60%. The HCA percentage of the extract used here is not disclosed.
- Glucomannan (200mg): A form of natural fibre that absorbs water inside the stomach and expands to create a feeling of satiety. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has evaluated all the claims made about the various heath benefits associated with glucomannan and only endorse it’s ability to lower cholesterol levels and help provide weight loss. However, the EFSA state three (1000mg) doses are needed per day. A daily dose of 200mg is not enough to provide the promised appetite suppressing effect.
- ProBiotic Blend (250mg): A dose of good bacteria to help improve gut health. A healthy digestive system absorbs nutrients more efficiently, and may provide some degree of weight loss, but probiotics should never be considered a “power ingredient”.

However, people living in the UK won’t have easy access to the product anyway and would be far better off seeking a stronger-acting diet pill that’s easier to obtain.
