The Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation is seeking qualified individuals to fill the following positions:
SMGF seeks a Genealogist to assist with the entry of genealogical data, extend and correct genealogies,
and contact project participants. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and have
excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate pedigree information for accuracy
- Extend and correct pedigrees using Internet sources
- Participate in historical and genealogical research projects
- Contact project participants
Education and/or Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
- A.A. or B.A in family history/genealogy or experience in the field of genealogical research
- B.A/B.S or greater
Communications & Language Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Foreign language skills useful.
